ella enchanted

My precious Ella Chanel Sandu was born on Friday, August 27th at 7:37am. She weighed 9 lbs 6 oz and is 21 inches long. Due to some complications we had to remain at the hospital for the last week, but are home and happy now. We are enchanted by her sweet and soft countenance and are completely in love. I can’t wait to share more with you! Thank you for your prayers and wishes.

Wednesday Inspiration | J.Crew’s Summer Catalog

I just received J.Crew’s Summer catalog and have been drooling ever since! As you know, I LOVE this kind of light, and the Dune Dress is exquisite… now if I can just fit into one of their bathing suits with my big belly… and snag a holiday to Turks & Caicos… bliss.

We’re having a baby girl | Ella

Well it turns out after a great ultrasound appointment that our baby is a baby girl! We are so excited and are in love already. The tech took so many photos of her little heart and said she has a beautiful one, literally. That just melted my hubby and I. She also posed perfectly for each image! Our tech was constantly amazed at how she was perfectly still for almost every shot and was in the perfect position head down. Then she found out I am a photographer and it all made sense… our Ella is already loving the camera. I can’t wait to see her beautiful face! I found this video and it’s exactly what I felt inside after that appointment… enjoy!

Meg, wow Ella is precious. What a perfect gift from the Lord. We’ve never met but I do believe we go to the same church. Anyhow I so enjoy admiring the work you do and all of these sweet little ones-they bring joy to any day.
